Sextant with wooden case
The Sextant is an instrument created to measure the height of the stars or angles between two points, which is why it is essential for both sea and air navigation. In the 20th century it was used in the Atlantic air crossing, by Gago Coutinho and Sacadura Cabral (two Portuguese pilots). This replica, crafted in brass, includes a wooden case, being a decorative and fascinating object.
