Eastern Astrolabe
The Astrolabe is considered to be one of the most iconic of astronomical navigation instruments. This seventeenth-century planispheric astrolabe was elaborated by Diya 'al Din Muhammad (Lahore, 1647). The original piece is in Adler Planetarium & Astronomy Museum, Chicago.
